World Ovarian Cancer Day

Public Notice

Today, May 8, 2026, the Town of Port Blandford Council officially proclaimed World Ovarian Cancer Day.                                           
Because this disease has no early detection testing and the lowest survival rate of all female cancers, we encourage all residents to talk to their healthcare providers and learn more about the symptoms and genetic risks. Let’s work together to raise awareness and support the “Belles with Balls NL” initiative.
