The Port Blandford Recreation have received Federal & Provincial Summer Job Grants and will be hiring youths age 15-30 @ 35 hours per week for 8 weeks, starting June 29, 2026!The goal of our student team is to bring our community spaces to life. Canada Day / Memorial Day Weekend!

Canada Day / Memorial Day Weekend events will take place on Saturday June 30, 2018, Sunday July 1, 2018 and Monday July 2, 2018 in cooperation with the organizations of Port Blandford!

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #48 will be hosting a dance starting at 10:00pm on Saturday June 30, 2018 for the Canada Day / Memorial Day Weekend. Further details to be announced.

The Port Blandford Heriatge Society and Royal Canadian Legion Branch #48 will be hosting the unveiling and dedication of the World War I and World War II commemorative stones at 10:30pm, Sunday July 1, 2018 at the War Memorial, Main Street. This will include an outdoor church service at the War Memorial (weather permitting).

The Town of Port Blandford’s Annual Canada Day Celebration will take place 12:30pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Legion Road. This will include the annual flag raising, cake cutting and a light luncheon.

The Port Blandford Recreation Board will be hosting their Family Fun Day at the ballfield on Monday July 2, 2018 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. There will be jumpy castles, games of chance, hot dog/hamburgers, and activities for the kids. Bingo at 11:30am, horseshoes tournament at 1:00pm and fire department demonstration at 2:00pm.
