Today, May 8, 2026, the Town of Port Blandford Council officially proclaimed World Ovarian Cancer Day. Because this disease has no early detection testing and the lowest survival rate of all female cancers, we encourage all residents to talk to their healthcare providers and learn more about the symptoms and genetic risks. Let's work together to raise awareness and support the "Belles with Balls NL" initiative. #WorldOvarianCancerDay #PortBlandford #BellesWithBallsNL ... See MoreSee Less

Date: April 30, 2026 To: Residents of Port Blandford

Please be advised that the Town has a main line break we have to perform an emergency water shut-off effective tonight. Water service will remain unavailable to some South-West residents until repairs can be completed tomorrow.

• Work Scheduled: Crews are scheduled to begin the fix at 7:30 AM tomorrow.

• Estimated Completion: We will provide an update as soon as more news is available regarding the progress of the repairs.
