The Port Blandford Recreation have received Federal & Provincial Summer Job Grants and will be hiring youths age 15-30 @ 35 hours per week for 8 weeks, starting June 29, 2026!The goal of our student team is to bring our community spaces to life. You’ll be responsible for inspiring kids to get moving and ensuring our town parks remain a welcoming place for everyone to enjoy.Youth will help organize and look after a Summer Program for children, help with maintenance at Port Blandford Community Rink, Ballfield, Municipal Park & help with Community Garden etc. Background in organized sports & volunteering an asset. Notice of Sale

TAKE NOTICE that under and by virtue of the provisions of THE MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 1999, RSNL1999, c-M-24, as amended, an auction will be held at the Town Hall, 170 Main Street, Port Blandford, Newfoundland and Labrador, A0C 2G0 on September 6th, 2018 at 10:00 AM to auction the premises at:

(1) 60-68 Bunyan’s Cove Road, Port Blandford, Newfoundland and Labrador;

(2) 88-90 Main Street, Port Blandford, Newfoundland and Labrador; and

(3) 18-20 Rock Cut Road, Port Blandford, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The sale is being made to satisfy outstanding property taxes. Full descriptions of the above noted properties may be viewed at the Town Hall.

TERMS OF AUCTION: Highest or any offer not necessarily accepted. The successful bidder must immediately pay a deposit of 10% of purchase price by certified cheque with the remainder payable on closing. Completion of the transaction shall occur within 30 days of sale. The Town of Port Blandford reserves the right to bid at the auction, to reserve decision and to cancel the auction process.
