There have been Foxes at our Municipal Park. Please do not feed wild animals. Forestry and Wildlife have been contacted and have a Trap placed to relocate the Foxes.Residents are reminded not to feed or handle wild foxes. Feeding foxes, or any other type of wildlife, is a public safety hazard and could result in wild animals being euthanized. Notice of Proposed Amendment to the Port Blandford Municipal Plan and Development Regulations

Port Blandford Town Council is proposing to change its Municipal Plan and Development Regulations to redesignate approximately 700 hectares of land lying west of the Trans Canada Highway in the southern portion of its Planning Area from Rural Resource to Open Space-Recreation. The purpose of the amendment is to facilitate the development of this area for nature trails, outdoor recreation, and wilderness tourism.

Council invites public input on the proposed changes. The draft amendment can be viewed at the Town Office and on the Town’s website, www.portblandford.com under the Public Notices link. Comments or objections can be made by submitting a signed statement to the Town Clerk on or before May 4, 2018.
