Krista Reading-Chatman of Three Mile Ridge farm in Lethbridge will share her wealth of knowledge and experience on how to successfully grow vegetables in your own garden. ![]()

Join us on Saturday, June 13th from 10:30-12:30 at the Municipal Park Cookhouse in Port Blandford (weather permitting, and the Legion if not). You’ll get a of vast array of tips and suggestions from an enthusiastic expert. And the bonus: Admission is FREE!![]()

If you haven’t visited our Municipal Park before, you should also allow time to visit the Back Garden, the Edible Orchard and the Community Gardens, after the talk. Horticultural Society members will be on hand to give guided tours of these areas for those interested in what is happening, and to learn about our ambitious plans. 😉![]()

Municipal Amendment # 4
Port Blandford Town Council is considering a change to its Municipal Plan and Development Regulations to rezone approximately 17.4 hectares of land fronting onto both sides of Southern Shore Drive (located east of Clode Sound and south of Route 233) from Residential Rural to Rural Resource. The landowner has requested the amendment in order to develop a campground on the property.
Council invites input from residents on the proposed change. The draft amendment can be viewed at the Town Office and on the Town’s website (attachment below). Comments or objections can be made by submitting a signed statement to Council or expressing your views in person to the Town Clerk on or before March 27, 2017.
