Urgent Notice: Water Service DisruptionDate: April 30, 2026 To: Residents of Port Blandford Please be advised that the Town has a main line break we have to perform an emergency water shut-off effective tonight. Water service will remain unavailable to some South-West residents until repairs can be completed tomorrow.Repair Schedule:• Work Scheduled: Crews are scheduled to begin the fix at 7:30 AM tomorrow.• Estimated Completion: We will provide an update as soon as more news is available regarding the progress of the repairs.Mandatory Water ConservationWhile the main line is shut down, the town's water supply is currently running solely off the Water Tower. To ensure there is enough water for essential needs and fire protection, we ask all residents to:• Restrict usage to essential purposes only.• Avoid running appliances like dishwashers or washing machines.• Limit shower times and ensure all taps are fully turned off.Drinking Water AssistanceWe understand the inconvenience this causes. PUBLIC NOTICE: Office Closure
The Port Blandford Town Office will be closed May 5th and 6th while staff attend Emergency Management Training in Clarenville.
We will reopen for regular hours on Thursday, May 7.
